Comparison of Imam Shafii's er-Risâle and Cessâs' al-Fusûl fi'l-Usûl, within the framework of the concepts of Khabar, Hadith and Sunnah

Our master's thesis, which we named as "Comparison of Imam Shafii's er-Risâle and Cessâs' al-Fusûl fi'l-Usûl, within the framework of the concepts of Khabar, Hadith and Sunnah" consists of an introduction and two parts. In the first chapter, the verses of the Qur'an and the hadiths and practices of the Prophet that will constitute a source for the hadith method are given. Then, the process until etbau't-Tabiîn is expressed and the process of hadith method is discussed in this way, and then biographical information about the lives and scientific personalities of the authors is given. The second part constitutes the main point of our study and includes the comparison of the works on the concepts of Khabar, Hadith and Sunnah, going from general to specific within the framework of the aforementioned concepts. In the mentioned comparison, it starts with the concept of Khabar and expresses the opinions of the authors about the Khabar divisions and the concept of Khabar-i vahid, which they discussed in detail under this concept. Immediately after the concept of Khabar, the concept of Hadith and the issues discussed under the concept of Hadith are included. Finally, by considering all these views of the authors, their views on the understanding of Sunnah are given. In this whole section, firstly, the views of Imam Shafii after el-Jassas are discussed and after expressing both views, evaluations are given under the title of comparison. At the end of the second part, a general evaluation is made and the thesis ends.
