Abstract (EN)

This master's thesis focuses on the reflection of the complex relationships of the character Kehtiyar within normative systems on art. While examining the historical evolution of perceptions and realities surrounding the Kehtiyar character, the thesis addresses human social adaptation and cultural development, particularly through the lens of mythology and art. Traditions, beliefs, daily habits, and folkloric elements are subjected to detailed analysis within the context of the relationship between art and myth. The research demonstrates how Kehtiyar's evolution has been shaped by references from other cultures and how it has become a cultural practice. The relationship between Kehtiyar and art signifies the evolution of societal norms. The definition of art and the narrative and material offered by each artistic discipline around the concept of Kehtiyar are examined in detail. The symbolic value and social position of Kehtiyar are explained in relation to collective consciousness. Folklore, nestled within normative systems and mythological elements over time, influences societal perceptions and beliefs. This study explores the boundaries of artistic expression shaped by various artistic techniques, forming a universal language and interacting with the perceptual world. Understanding the interaction between art and Kehtiyar leads to deeper intellectual insights. The character of Kehtiyar continues to exist as an object, changing and evolving with external influences. The interaction of art with time, space, objects, and collective consciousness enables the understanding and interpretation of the universe. The thesis delves into mythology and Anatolian mythology to facilitate an understanding of Kehtiyar's character.
