Abstract (EN)
Following the topic, The Impact of Social Media on Sports Marketing Activities: Case of Sports Marketing in Turkey; the aim of the thesis is to find, describe and value an interrelations between social media tools and sports marketing activities. In order to reach those goals such methods as statistics and in-depth interviews were conducted. The thesis is based on two main divisions: Conceptual Structure and Research. The first part contains such a topics as sports marketing, its dimensions, relations with business and its relations with new media. It also describes the social media by itself, presenting closer few chosen tools, and what is most important, describes new type of digital- social customer. In the end conceptual structure focus on correlations between sports marketing activities and social media.
