Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, in comparison with the traditional heating methods, the diffusion phenomena was activated by using induction and thus it is intended to investigate the effects of induction currents on the diffusion mechanism. For this purpose, preliminary studies were carried out and in consideration of the parameters determined in these studies, the experiments were carried out at 700 C for 30, 60 and 90 minutes both in the resistance furnace and in comparison with the induction process. Consequently, the effect of induction currents on diffusion phenomena was investigated as a result of the experimental parameters developed and the experiments performed. It is thought that induction currents increase the material diffusivity.
