Abstract (EN)
In the world, environmental impacts are the most important problems for governmentsrecently. Because of that, ISO 14000 Environmental Management System has attractedinterest from industries, international organizations and governments all over the world.Environmental Management System (EMS) is form a key role in environmental control.ISO 14000 EMS is a guideline for organizations controlling and decreasing theenvironmental impacts.In this scope of thesis, the steps of improving an environmental management systemaccording to ISO 14001 on a food industry and a white goods-refrigerator industry areexplained.In this study, the requirements of ISO 14001 Environmental Management System aredetermined and reported as an initial review for the mentioned industries.
