Abstract (EN)
In this work, Distaloy AE metal powders have been chosen due to their wide used in the industrial applications. First, Distaloy AE powders were pressed at 500 MPa pressure and room temperature. Then, pressed specimens were sintered at 1120 ºC temperature for 30 minutes. In order to examine effects of sintering operation to density, density have been measured in per temperature. After sintering operation, a group of specimen was nitriding at 520 ºC temperature during 16 hours. To investigate mechanical properties of sintered and nitrided Distaloy AE powders, tensile and fatigue tests were performed. In addition, samples which are not subjected to tensile and fatigue test were used for micro-hardness tests. For metallographic researches, optic microscopy and scanning electron microscopy tests were used to examine.
