Abstract (EN)

Visible light communication VLC is a wireless technique that works in combination with well-known radio frequency (RF) communication and has the potential to deal with the spectrum crunch issue in increasingly crowded RF spectrum regions. The knowledge of physical layer approaches for visible light point-to-point links has advanced significantly in recent years, but the fundamental issue of creating effective networking technology tailored for visible-light networks remains largely unsolved. The methodologies now in use as well as the major difficulties in designing visible-light ad hoc networks, or LANETs, are reviewed in this study. VLC offers a number of difficulties, including interference and obstruction-caused blockages. Various settings also provide a wealth of light sources that may be employed to support end-to-end communication.
