Abstract (EN)

Quality Function Deployment (QFD) is a method used to convert customer requests and requirements related with product and design planning. Because of increasing competition, with fewer resources and product complexity, customer-oriented quality management and product development system is required to achieve high customer satisfaction. QFD starts with a planning matrix called the house of quality which is used to convert measuring customer requirements into technical requirements. The aim of the study is; to clarify what the QFD approach is to contribute to the indigenous literature and to investigate the applicability of QFD in the construction industry. For this purpose; the study of theoretical knowledge and literature review, the importance of quality, total quality management concepts are explained and the total quality management in the QFD of importance was mentioned, QFD phases in detail were investigated. The materials and methods section describe the purpose of the study and methodology. In the findings section, general information has been given to the construction industry and with the results of the study datas, the house of quality is explained step by step process. In the results section, the house of quality and obtained the results were evaluated.
