Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACTIn the past; engineers, architects or foremen were establishing themanagement of relatively small projects relying on personal knowledge andexperience. But in the 20th century large scale projects came up in parallel tothe technological developments. The establishment of these projectsrequired the coordination of several sub-projects, subcontractors, activities, manpower, material and equipment. These needs, respectively lead into theestablishment and development of GANTT, CPM, PERT techniques in projectmanagement.Project management can be defined as allocation of the presentresources to the activities (which have some sort of a relationship to eachother) generating the project in the best manner to attain the targets. Thesetargets can be defined generally as the completion of the project due to adeadline or money and time savings. With these techniques it?s possible toaccelerate or delay the projects, increase or decrease the costs and makefinancial planning. In conclusion the utilization of these methods in largescale projects will make significant contributions to the national economy. In this study the project management and project manager was toldand the process in the construction sector was shown with an applicationstudy.IV
