Abstract (EN)

Construction demolition waste is an important resource for recycling practices in the construction sector. When properly processed and reused, this waste can contribute to both reducing environmental impacts and conserving natural resources. Roller Compacted Fiber Concrete Roads: Roller compacted fibre concrete is a type of concrete that is reinforced with fibers to increase durability and prevent cracking and deformation. Fibers are materials added to concrete and are usually of textile or polymer origin. There are several important factors for this type of concrete to be used in road construction: Material Substitution: Construction demolition waste can be a suitable alternative for use as aggregate for roller compacted fibrous concrete. These wastes can be replaced with stone, sand or other natural aggregates, providing environmental benefits as well as reduced costs. Durability and Performance: The use of demolition waste in fibrous concrete evaluates its effect on early engineering properties, durability and load-bearing capacity. Research shows that such mixes can have adequate static and dynamic durability. Environmental Impacts: The recovery of construction demolition waste reduces the need for landfill space and minimizes the negative impact of such waste on the environment. It also contributes to the conservation of natural resources.Economic Dimension: This practice has the potential to reduce the costs of construction projects. The use of demolition waste at the local level provides an economic advantage by reducing transportation costs. In conclusion, creating roller compacted fibrous concrete roads using construction demolition waste as a substitute material is an approach that has the potential to improve both environmental sustainability and economic efficiency. However, more research and laboratory studies are required for such applications to be effective.
