Abstract (EN)

Globalization, developments in technology, increasing international competition and changes in production techniques require organizations to have efficiency advantages in order to achieve quality, efficiency and profit goals. Organizations which aim at realizing these goals by having sustainable competition advantages will apply strategic management and strategic human resource management. Strategic human resource management is an approach which deal with how organizations can increase their own competition advantages by effective use of human resources. If an organization is not applying strategic management, strategic human resource management cannot be mentioned. By combining human resources with strategic management strategic human resource management can achieve sustainable competitive advantages. Starting from conceptual phase, characteristics and goals of strategy, strategic management and strategic human resource management, their combination with strategic management, strategic human resource management and total quality managent (TQM) topics will be covered in this study. Effects of strategic human resource management in achieving sustainable competition advantage and formation of human resource strategies for this purpose will be discussed.
