Abstract (EN)

II ABSTRACT In present study, Borrelia burgdorferii-lgG antibodies were detected from sera from people and cattle in the city of Aydın and its province. Seram samples of eigthy one cattle from 6 farms the age of 8 months to 7 years were tested. Risk group was consist of veterinarians, animal keepers and butchers containing a total of 65 people including 61 man and 4 woman. Borrelia burgdorferii-lgG antibodies had not been detected in samples from risk group. Fourty seven of the 81 cattle (% 52.08) were positive for B. Burgdorferii-lgG antibodies.
