Abstract (EN)
With the advancement of technology in the aviation industry, UAVs are also progressing. UAVs are aerial vehicles that can fly without onboard human operators and perform various tasks. The increasing presence of UAVs in airspace poses new threats to aviation safety and security. This study aims to examine the impact of UAVs on aviation safety management. Data obtained from interviews with pilots, air traffic controllers, and academics aim to assist in understanding the risks posed by UAVs to aviation safety and strategies for managing these risks. Semi-structured interviews were conducted with 11 participants, using seven open-ended questions. The interviews were conducted online. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using the MAXQDA program. The analysis revealed the impact of UAVs on aviation safety, potential risks, and areas that need to be developed to mitigate these risks.
