Abstract (EN)
ABSTRACT PhD Thesis REACHABLE SETS OF NONLINEAR CONTROL SYSTEMS WITH INTEGRAL CONSTRAINT EMRAH AKYAR Anadolu University Graduate School of Natural And Applied Sciences Mathematics Program Supervisors: Assoc. Prof. Kh.G. GUSEINOV, Prof. Orhan ÖZER 2002, 108 Pages In this thesis, reachable sets of nonlinear control systems with integral constraints on the control are studied. Closedness and compactness properties of reachable sets and dependence on given initial conditions are investigated. A method for approximate calculation of reachable sets of control systems with integral constraints on the control is obtained by replacing the system with integral constraints on the control by the system with mixed constraints on the control. By this approximation method an algorithm is developed and by means of this algorithm, reachable sets for some examples are numerically calculated.
