INTERNET BASED CONTROL EDUCATION(M.Sc. Thesis)Gürcan ÇET NGAZI UNIVERSITYINSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGYJanuary 2006ABSTRACTIn this thesis an internet based distance learning model provides opportunitiesfor the course of distance learning of control systems has been developed. Thus, control systems course is asynchronously conducted by the internet. In thisstudy, control systems course is divided into eight units and course is developedby animation, simulation, picture and shape aided. In the first seven units, control systems subjects are given starting from the first unit. In the unit eight, four animations which were developed by using Java, and thirteen simulationworks were given. Also, forum and download pages, which provide student tostudent or student to tutorial/instructor interaction, are prepared. Thusinstructor may develop the site by having information about the deficientsubjects. Although, this web site is prepared for asynchronous distancelearning, it can be used for supporting the course in the face to face traditionalclass atmosphere.Science Code : 704Key Words : Web-Based Education, Linear Control Systems, JavaPage Number : 102Adviser : Prof. Dr. Çetin ELMAS
