Abstract (EN)

In this study, which aims to analyze the effects of political tendencies on Iran's foreign policy behaviors, the basis of the conflict of political tendencies on economy, domestic and foreign policy will be examined. This study defends the thesis that the power of a political tendency to affect foreign policy behaviors changes depending on which religious or republican powers it governs. In this context, the conservatives who have ruled the religious powers as of 1980 and Office of Guardianship of the Islamic Jurist as of 1989, determined the continuity and change in domestic and foreign policy as a political power; on the other hand, it functions as a political opposition against initiatives that may harm the state order based on the principle of guardianship of jurist and its own socio-economic interests. Therefore, as the influence of conservatives on religious powers and guardianship of jurist office continues, it is not possible for any political tendency that dominates the republican powers to make any reforms or changes.
