Abstract (EN)
The dissertation investigates the process, process improvement andprocess mapping to produce goods and services which meets the customersrequirements. Work study is investigated in order to be able to produce thegoods and services in the shortest time period, with ease in an economicmaner. An ampirical study was carried out at Atatürk Training and ResearchHospital . Job analysis are carried out at outpatient clinic, job discribtious andjob requirements are written. Work flows are also analysed and work flowdiagrams prepared.A modern hospital?s operation is quite complex. In a society, no otherorganization, than the state has the complexity of an hospital. An hospital hasa high degree of differantiation and specialization, like in other organizations,proffesionalism and a suitable organizational structure is a necessity. Thequality of the human resources is also a necessity in order for the operationsto be efficient and effective. For that reason, the operations undertaken mustmeet certain standards.A small mistake concerning a patients health may end up withirrevocable results. For that reason, it is very important that the actions takenin hospitals must be correct, complete and just in time. It is a necessity thatthe job analysis and process analysis must be carried out, job describtionsand requirements are written down for each job and function.
