Abstract (EN)

Researches on business ethics and unethical behaviour at a workplace and the significance attributed to such researches are increasing day by day. Competitive environment in an organization is one of the reasons of these researches. It can be more possible for organizations to cling tightly to the business and increase their activity and productivity without any interruption as long as they behave according to the ethics rules and approaches of business.In this study, a comprehensive literature review has been performed in line with the business ethics and unethical behaviour at a workplace. And also a questionnaire has been applied including three scales and two perceiving and six demographic questions. 223 people working in different places such as İstanbul, Yalova, İzmir, Balıkesir, Denizli and Antalya participated in this survey. The purpose of the questionnaire is to determine whether or not the workers are exposed to unethical behaviour such as mobbing, sexual harassment and discrimination. Workers? perceptions of corruption types such as bribery and tax evasion have also been examined. The questionnaire proves that some workers are subjected to some unethical behaviour and their perceptions of bribery and tax evasion are meaningfully different from one another.Key Words: Business ethics, unethical behavior at a workplace
