Abstract (EN)

In this study, heat recovery fluidized bed continuous dryer (HRFBCD) have been designed and manufactured. This apparatus was used for drying which is used in different area from food to chemistry. Experimental results getting from HRFBCD and fluid bed continuous dried fluid bed (FBCD) were compared each other and then energy analysis was made. Heat of salt load high heat in dried period and environment were recovered with heat exchanger settled in cooling period. In addition, recovered heat was transferred to drying air using heat exchanger settled in fan blower. Thus, both cooling salt and gaining the waste heat to system was provided. Experiments realized both HRFBCD and FBCD were done by using electric heater with 4920 Watt, 7380 Watt and 1020 Watt. In spite of using equal energy in both HRFBCD and FBCD, more drying air temperature was obtained from HRFBCD than FBCD. According this, end of the drying time with 120 minute, temperature increased 5,9 oC, 9,8 oC and 16,7 oC sequence at first step, second step and third step. As additional energy to FBCD, recovered energy from dried air were determined 0,37 kW at first step, 0,64 kW at second step and 1,10 kW at third step in HRFBCD system. The getting energy quantity from the drying air of heat recovery unit were occurred 7 % at first step, 8 % at second step and 10 % at third step. So, putting out more moisture from salt by increasing the temperature of drying air was provided with recovered energy. Namely, more dry salt in sort time were acquired by using equal quantity of energy. Total energy acquired by heat recovery unit - total both obtained from cooling of salt and gained to dried air - were become 0,82 kW at first step, 1,28 kW at second step and 1,9 kW at third step.
