Since the phenomenon of labor force is a factor that affects the professional lives of employees and the increasingly competitive environment in the globalizing world, it has become very important for organizations to progress by gaining strength in this environment and to maintain their permanence as strong organizations. In this context, workload and organizational commitment emerge as concepts that need to be emphasized. Since hotels are businesses where the service sector is intense, they require mostly manpower. Work difficulty is thought to have a significant impact on the organizational commitment of hotel employees. The main purpose of the research is to investigate the effect of workload levels on organizational commitment of five-star hotel employees in Afyonkarahisar with tourism management certificate. While the population of the research consists of all hotel employees with Tourism Management Certificate in Afyonkarahisar, the sample of the research consists of personnel with Tourism Management Certificate and working only in 5-star hotels in Afyonkarahisar city center. In the analysis of the data, standard deviation values, arithmetic mean, frequency-percentage distributions and parametric independent samples t-test and One-way ANOVA were used to determine the differences between variables due to the normal distribution of the scales. Regression analyzes were performed to measure correlation and effect in the relationship measurement test. Hotel employees' views on their workload levels and organizational commitment vary depending on their demographic characteristics. At the same time, it was concluded that job strain levels affected organizational commitment. To reduce workload and increase organizational commitment; Increasing employee motivation by celebrating and rewarding employees' achievements, extending the time allocated for social activities and rest, supporting department employees are among the important activities that managers can do in order to reduce employees' work difficulties and increase their organizational commitment.
