Abstract (EN)
The heat consumption coefficient, which is an important parameter in calculating the heat requirement, varies depending in the greenhouse. In this study, it is observed the change of the heat consumption coefficient in modern greenhouse installed in the farmer conditions depending on changes in wind speed which is an external climatic conditions and the results were compared with the theoretically calculated results with a simple model. The research was carried out in modern PE plastic greenhouse with heat curtains which has 20.160 m2 area established in Adana climatic conditions. The heat energy sent to the greenhouse was determined by utilizing the water flow and return temperature. The average values between 24:00 and 05:00 hours was taken into account on calculations. It is found linear relations between wind speed and the heat consumption coefficient obtained from regression analysis of results. The effect of wind speed on the heat consumption coefficient was found to be very low. This is due to good of isolation of greenhouse and use of the heat curtain. It is observed that measured heat losses transmitted through coverage materials is compatible with theoretically calculated heat losses by the transmission.
