Abstract (EN)

The concept of Occupational Health and Safety, which is one of the important building blocks in working life, is among the important research subjects recently. It is known that adverse working conditions in the workplace are threatening the health and safety of employees. For this reason, it is aimed to minimize occupational accidents and occupational diseases by shaping the perceptions of employees together with the relevant legislation. In particular, it is necessary to place Occupational Health and safety culture in our country with the adoption of the concepts of security climate and security culture by increasing the level of knowledge of the employees. By keeping the motivation of the employees in the workplace at a certain level, the ability to create psychological situations that may occur in the workplace and the ease of coping with these situations should be provided. The most important detail here is to create occupational health and safety awareness through trainings and to make the safety culture effective with this awareness. In this study, according to the educational tastes of the people in business life, a questionnaire consisting of 19 questions was evaluated to measure the perception of Occupational Health and safety and analyzed in a statistical way and the results were interpreted in detail. As it is understood from this study on behalf of measuring the perception of Occupational Health and safety, the awareness that there is no extra teaching about life on the basis of compulsory education or the professions chosen in these conditions, and that work should be done on behalf of the improvement of Occupational Health and safety, which is also a new sector, within the framework.
