Abstract (EN)
Today, computers has become as a part of the life, and it is clear that the use of the computers in image recognition is facilitate the life. The studies such as license plate recognition, eye recognition, fingerprint recognition offer great benefits in time and financial. The recognition of sign language by means of computers can be of great assistance in daily life.This presented study focuses on understanding of the hand sign using image processing techniques. In this study, two methods have been proposed to determine the hand signs. The first one is based on the weighted matrix, and the other is based on angular scanning the edges of the shape.
