Abstract (EN)

In this research, perpendicular to the surface of the tensile strength and screw holding strength in the direction perpendicular to the surface, mechanic features of MDF, and the effect of the heat treatment on surface roughness, technological feature of MDF, have been studied. The samples to use in the experiments have been prepared from MDF provided by market in accordance with the standards. MDF samples have been subjected to heat treatment in the degrees of 120, 150 and 180 for 2, 4 and 6 hours. Following heat treatment, measurement of surface roughness has been made and mechanic experiments on MDF samples has been done.In MDF samples subjected to heat treatment, in the data of the surface perpendicular to the direction perpendicular to the surface of the screw holding strength, significant reductions have been established with the increase of temperature and time. Also, the decrease of surface roughness value has been determined with the increase of temperature and time.Key Words: Heat treatment, MDF, the surface perpendicular to the screw holding strength, tensile strength perpendicular to the surface, the surface roughness.
