Method of arbitration (tahkim) in conflict resolution accarding Islamic Family Law

In our thesis called The Method of Tahkim in Conflict Resolution Accordingto Islamic Family Law, it is deal with what Tahkim is the place and importance ofTahkim in Islamic Family Law.In this context, our thesis consist of three parts; namely, Tahkim in LawHistory , Judge (Arbitrator) , and The Method of Tahkim in Family Law .In the first part, it is examined what tahkim is, its development in history, itslegal foundations, its advantages and disadvantages.In the second part where the theme of judge (arbitrator) is studied, the meritsof judges, their election, number qualities sought in judges and the binding nature ofjudges decisions are explained to a large extend.In the third part, it is discussed how tahkim can be put in practice in certainthemes of Islamic family law such as nafaka (alimony), hidâne , mehir anddivorce.
