Abstract (EN)

This study examines the effect of career planning applying in corporations on employee performance. The data of the study consists of employees of Turkish Petroleum Corparation. Because of impossibility to reach ali the data, sample is used. in the scope of the study we undertook a questionnaire survey form in order to get employees' opinions. Information that acquired by the questionnaire forms are given in the brand table, personal information of employees iş brought up by frequencies and percentages. The issue of whether there is difference among employee opinions is controiled by means, pearson correlation analysis, T test and anova test. in the study signifıcant level is accepted as 0,05. The results of this study suggest that: 1. Career planning applying in corporations has a positive effect on employee performance. 2. As education level of employees increases, application rate of career planning and employee performance increase. 3. As statute of employees increase, career planning rate and employee performances increase. 4. Sex, marital status, age, time of working in fırm do not effect employee performances and career planning rates. Due to the problems that arise in the conclusion of the study there are suggestions brought up by the researcher.
