The investigation of the trainers leadership postures and behaviors working at İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports

In this research Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. in the leadership of Coach was conducted to determine attitudes. The universe of study in 2013-2014 Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Sports Inc. 356 as the employees constitute. In this purpose, the sample 230 was included in the study manager. Questionnaire is used as a data collection tool. This survey consists of two sections. In the first part of the survey as reflecting the demographic characteristics of age, education and professional coaching questions were asked on the duration. In the second part, the coach leadership behaviors that reflect the real total of five size and consists of 40 questions and Chelladura and Saleh (1980) developed by the Leadership in Sport Scale was used. The scale of the Likert scale from 1 to 5 s to 5 extending in no time, rarely, sometimes, often and always with options have been identified. Survey data collected in the SPSS 16.0 package program were evaluated and the data for the analysis of descriptive statistics, mean and standard deviation values were calculated variables are parametric and to find out if Kolmogrov-Smirnov test was applied involved in the study hypothesis test the level of significance was taken as 0.05. For the determination of differences between groups, a one-way analysis of variance was conducted. As a result of this research, as the leadership of gender on attitudes in the past, sport career and coaching of the branch variables has appeared to have no effect. Coaching leadership attitudes of age, tenure in the profession, training and coaching position has emerged as the impact of variables. Keywords: Trainer, Leadership, Municipality.
