Abstract (EN)
The present study intends to discuss three novels: Aziyadé by Pierre Loti, City of Man?s Desire by Cornelia Golna, The Black Book by Orhan Pamuk; within the frame of their mutual setting Istanbul and its transcendence upon the mutual ?love? theme and characters; from a theoretical perspective of Homi Bhabha?s notion of cultural hybridity, and rhizome, suggested by Gilles Deleuze & Felix Guattari.
