The aim of the study is to define the risks for historical buildings preimplementation, implementation and post implementation process and develop a risk analysis method to be discussed with reference to preservation practices. Within the scope of the study, a risk analysis method is developed using the factors of preservation practice and temporal parameters of implementationprocess. This risk analysis method for historical buildings is discussed on selected Levantine mansions, which have actual preservation practices. The adaptability of the method to the preservationprocess and reducing the risk factors of historical buildings is also discussed.
