Abstract (EN)

The aim of this review is to synthesise the findings obtained from judo-specific competition analysis methods and movement analysis studies conducted in the years 2000-2022. In judo competitions, competition analysis and movement analysis help to measure the competence level of the techniques and tactics used by the athlete during the competition, to determine the inadequacies, to control and dominate the opponent. In this scoping review, articles and reviews published in English scientific journals were searched from Google Scholar and Dergipark Academic sites for national articles and Human Kinetics Journal, Web of Science, Scopus, Science Direct, PubMed and SPORTDiscus databases for international articles. Studies were classified as competition-analysis or time-motion analyses. Of the 245 articles identified, 6 articles were included in the final selection. The results of this scoping review may help coaches and athletes to develop training strategies according to the technical-tactical goals of the athletes, as well as shed light on future research on technical, tactical and time management specific to judo. The aim of the research is to determine the data of the studies related to the analysis of the competitions applied and the movement analysis related to the judo branch and to investigate the factors affecting the result. It is aimed to observe how the studies carried out between 2000-2022 show a development as the years progress. In this study, it is aimed to contribute to Turkish judo as a result of processing the data.
