Abstract (EN)
It has been known that the instruments referred by different names represent the cultures that they belong to in different geographic since the early history. Kabak Kemane and Azeri Kamanca which are the representative of cultures are fellow instruments which are mentioned by different or similar names in music history and can be named as variant of each other. In this study, these two instruments were analyzed organologically, information which will bring into open both technical and historical process was included. Apart from these, by interviewing the performer of these instruments, information was gathered about the importance and use of those mentioned instruments, the situation of connection between the past and present was tried to be determined, suggestions were made about the future situation.
