Abstract (EN)
Knowledge is the linkage that has been established between the knowing individual and the known object. The questions of "Can we know anything?", "If so, what sort of things can we know?", and "How can we come to know them?" are the research subjects of epistemology. In this framework, there are four main problems of epistemology: the possibility, accuracy, source, and boundaries of knowledge. Dogmatic philosophers, having argued that knowledge is possible, have defined knowledge as "justified true belief". On the other hand, Skeptic philosophers, having rejected the possibility of knowledge, have claimed that the process of justifying knowledge is an "infinite regress" by criticizing the concept of justification. Dogmatics have left justifying in the basic beliefs that are directly understood, and two main streams have occurred in the research of the source of this basic belief: Rationalism and Empiricism. In the study, it has been investigated whether there is an "infinite regress" problem in Qadi based on his passages that involve criticisms against the ones who reject the possibility of knowledge. After detecting the existence of the problem, it has been studied where the infinite regress stops in Qadi. Finally, by handling the knowledge sources in Qadi, the answer to the question of whether it is possible to include Qadi in any of the streams of rationalism or empiricism has been searched.
