Abstract (EN)
In this study, it was investigated effects to the soil carbon mineralization (28°C, 60 days) of separately and together with leaf and root additions of Raphanus sativus L. var radicula (red radish), Raphanus sativus L. (watermelon radish) and Beta vulgaris L. var. rapacea (red beet) grown in the Kadirli district of Osmaniye. Leaf and root samples included 2% carbon were added to the soils for this experiment. carbon mineralization ratios (%) of the soils were significantly found lower in no added soil than soil mixed with red radish root, soil mixed with watermelon radish leaf + root, soil mixed with red radish leaf + root (P < 0.05). Based on all of these results, it is concluded that leaf and root additions of red beet and radish varieties was increased to carbon mineralization ratios, not having allelopathic effects on soil microorganisms and used as nutrient source of added organic matter by microorganisms at the end of 60 days of.incubation expetiments.
