Abstract (EN)

Dictionaries are created by bringing together all the words in the language and giving them meaning. The basic element that makes up the language is the word. Words provide interpersonal communication with their arrangement in a single or in a certain order. The words in the language form the vocabulary of the language. The richness of the language is determined by the abundance of words. The language with the most words is considered the richest language. Expressive abilities of rich languages are also strong. The transmission of language from generation to generation is through oral and written literary works. During this transfer, dictionaries are created by bringing the words in a language together and giving their correct meanings so that the words are not lost and their meanings are not forgotten. Dictionaries are the memory of languages. Since the transfer of languages is done through words, the use of words is of great importance. Every person uses words in one way or another, but creating a literary work from words is especially reserved for poets, writers and minstrels. These poets, writers and minstrels are important language transmitters. Âşık Feymânî is one of these artists who not only transfers the language, but also expands and develops the usage areas of words, thanks to their imagination and personal abilities. In this research, a dictionary study on the works of Âşık Feymânî was taken as the subject. The poems and lover stories in the books were written one by one in the computer environment and indexed with the Cibakaya program. Then, the meanings and an example of the words in the works are given. The language of the foreign words used in the works is also given in parentheses. It is stated before the explanation in which conceptual field the words fall into. As a result, the words that Âşık Feymânî used, the words he derived and produced, as well as the words used in the public dialect, contributed to the Turkish language
