Abstract (EN)
Women and her body are the subjects of many disciplines and research processes. In terms of plastic arts; it can be seen that it is not possible to examine these figures merely in terms of aesthetic value and form. The presence of a woman; brings the society she lives with, her various values and accumulations of this society. Therefore; if sociological, economic, cultural, philosophical, historical and traditional approaches are ignored, it will be very difficult to conduct an examination of the woman and her body, which are part of society. The female subject, which is a very broad title, brings with it various assumptions and limitations. In this context, the descriptions of the female body that can be accessed and verified in the historical process, various geographical, matriarchal and patriarchal culture examples have been selected and examined in various chronological intervals. Taking these examples into consideration, the factors related to the formation and change of the body sensation were examined and the change in the process was questioned through these factors. The aim of the study; primarily to examine the change of female body representations from the matriarchal period to the patriarchal turn, and the reasons for these changes. In addition, it is also the purpose of the study whether the woman is questioned in the individual sense in this process and whether the effect is controlled in this process. The sample of the work; From the Paleolithic Age to the present Age, various female body descriptions with plastic and aesthetic values are formed. Examination of work of art and literature review methods were used as a data collection tools. It has been learned that the female body is described in various forms with different purposes for different periods in every period of human history that can be recorded, and that these depictions are often independent of women. The data acquired in the process have been converted into ceramic works for the purpose of aesthetic value. All findings are discussed in the conclusion section in terms of the importance of the study.
