Abstract (EN)

In Turkey, women's labor force participation rate remains well behind countries according to the OECD. The main reason for this situation is to prevail in Turkey and understanding of gender-based perspective of the woman's main task should be to provide child care and domestic order. The fact that domestic production is not included in the employment leads to the qualification of this labor practiced by women as free labor. various regulations and projects in order to increase female participation in the labor force in Turkey realized, could not be reached a satisfactory condition. Women's involvement in the labor market affects both economic development and economic growth. Both social and economic freedoms of women who gain earnings are increasing. İn this study, the effect of female employment on economic growth was examined between 2000-2018. Women's employment-enhancing policies are emphasized and the barriers faced by women in the labor market are addressed. Var Model was used as econometric analysis. With the data we have obtained from the Turkey Statistical Institute has addressed all aspects of women's employment.
