Abstract (EN)
Truss structural systems represent a prevalent category of load-bearing frameworks extensively employed in engineering projects. Typically fashioned from materials such as steel or wood, these systems manifest as two or three-dimensional truss configurations. This structural design facilitates the homogeneous distribution of loads and affords the capability to span considerable openings. The precise analysis and design of such systems carry paramount significance. Progressive collapse within structures denote the phenomenon wherein the onset of collapse, triggered by localized damage, propagates to other segments of the structure, culminating in a comprehensive failure. This occurrence is frequently precipitated by external factors such as explosions or fires. Gradient Descent is a rudimentary and iterative algorithm entrenched in mathematical optimization, with the principal objective of discerning local extremal values of a function. The algorithm diligently computes the function's gradient and endeavors to navigate towards a reduced function value from the prevailing position. The present investigation delves into the analysis of progressive collapse in truss systems by implementing the energy minimization method and the Gradient Descent algorithm. The procedural framework proposed herein holds adaptability for a myriad of alternative applications, including the nonlinear analysis of truss systems, contingent upon nuanced adjustments.
