Abstract (EN)
Financial literacy is defined as having the basic knowledge about financial products and applications and ability to manage the income and budget correctly for individuals. Financial literacy which concerns most part of the society is an important point for public officials playing a great role in society. This study has been applied on public officers working in Tunceli city center. In this study, public officers' attitudes on financial literacy and knowledge level of it has been determined. This study includes four sections. In the first two sections, there is literature review about financial literacy and financial education. Method and the results of study are in the third section. Findings have been discussed and some suggestions have been given in the final section.
