Abstract (EN)
Mobbing is the emotional abuse that occurs systematically in forms of psychological terror, pressure, harassment, intimidation, threat, isolation etc. in the workplace by misusing present power or position. It is done on purpose to force someone out of the workplace regardless of age, sex or race factors. The person who executes mobbing is called "the persecutor" and the person who is mobbed is called "the victim". This study aims at measuring and identifying the attitude of public health workers against mobbing and how much they know about their legal rights. The study is done on 98 health workers working at İstanbul Association of Public Hospitals, Anatolian Northern General Secretariat of Zeynep Kamil Women and Children Diseases Training and Research Hospital, functioning in central İstanbul and connected to Ministry of Health. The data gathered after the study is processed in Social Studies Scientific . Statistic Data Analysis Program; SPSS. It is then interpreted and the tables are formed accordingly.. Nevertheless, it is seen that only 0.040% of the mobbing victims prefer to go to court for this.
