Abstract (EN)

In this master of science thesis study, the effects of different plant growthregulators and the stress caused by different salt concentrations on the growth ofBrassica napus L. (canola) are investigated by using embryo culture technique. The best growth is obtained with Kinetin which is a kind of cytokinin. α-NAA,IAA and gibberellic acid induced the shoot growth but did not have sufficienteffect on root development. A kind of synthetical auxin, 2,4-D, was the leasteffective growth regulator, even it had negative effect on growth. It is found thathigh concentrations of salt caused stress on canola, decelerated development, butdid not inhibit growth. The study demonstrated that canola is tolerant to salt stressand low salt concentration positively affects the growth. Keywords: Canola, Salt Stress, Plant Growth Regulators, Embryo Culture, StresPhysiology
