Abstract (EN)

It is understood that the concepts of freedom and causality have an important place in the context of Kant's moral philosophy. In this framework, we come across two different types of causality and two different types of freedom. It is necessary to examine which of these understandings plays a dominant role in the formation of moral law. In the context of researching the aforementioned problematic, first of all, Kant's moral philosophy will be discussed with its main lines. Within the framework of his moral philosophy, the following basic issues are analyzed: happiness, the principle of duty, unconditional command, autonomy, heteronomy. In the second step, it will be tried to be clarified according to which criterion he classifies the concepts of freedom and causality. At the same time, it will be examined how Kant establishes a connection between the concepts of freedom and causality and the morality of duty.
