Abstract (EN)
This research has been made to determine the flora in the region of Karacadağ. The research area is in the B4 square according to the Grid system used by Davis. As a result of the examination of 1400 plants' specimens which were collected from the research area between 2009-2010, 452 taxa that belong to 59 families and 237 genera have been determined. In the research area the number of endemic taxa is 51 (12,2%). The number of cultivars in the area is 33. 31 taxa are new records for B4 square. The distrubition rations of the taxa into the phytogeographical regions are as follows: Irano-Turanian elements are 95 (21,0%), Mediterranean elements are 31 (6,86%) and Euro-Siberian elements are 17 (3,76%) and other 309 (%68,4) taxa are wide spreaded and phytogeographical region are unknown. The largest families according to the number of taxa in the research area are as follows: Compositae 67, Leguminosae 62, Gramineae 33, Labiatae 31, Caryophyllaceae 31, Cruciferae 30, Boraginaceae 22, Scrophulariaceae 15, Rosaceae 12, Umbelliferae 11. The largest genera are Astragalus 14, Centaurea 11, Trifolium 10, Alyssum 10, Ornithogalum 9, Silene 8, Vicia 8, Veronica 7.Key words : Flora, Karacadağ, Kulu, Konya, Ankara, Turkey.
