Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to determine the species of Aleyrodidae collected from different host plant during August and September in 2018 from Karaman province. Whiteflies were identified by using pupal morphological characters and analysis of gene sequences from COI region obtained from adult stage. According to morphological identification seven species namely; Aleyrodes proletella (Linnaeus), Bemisia afer (Priesner&Hosny), B.tabaci (Gennadius), siphoninus finitimus (Silvestri), S. phillyreae (Haliday), Trialeurodes vaporariorum (Westwood) and Tetraleurodes neemani (Bink-Moenen) were determined. As a Result of the BLAST analysis of 18 sequences, 3 whiteflies species (B. argentifolii, B. tabaci, T. vaporariorum) belonging to 2 genera were determined. According to phylogenetic analysis, the samples that could not be identified were separated into two separate groups close to Aleyrodes genera.
