Abstract (EN)

In this study, the endoparasite presences of parasites on 111 Esox lucius from Lake Karamık were investigated between October 2013 and August 2014. Three parasite species were determined in the host fishes: Neascus brevicaudatus (Platyhelminthes) (infection prevalence %52,5; mean parasite number and standart deviation 16,9±25,1) was found in eyes. Raphidascaris acus (Nemathelminthes) (%18,8; 2,9±3,8) and Acanthocephalus lucii (10,9; 1,4±0,7) (Acanthocephala) were found in intestine. These species are new records for the present study area. In addition, minimum-maximum and mean intensity of parasites and infection prevalence were determined using seasonal data, size and sex distribution of the host fish.
