Abstract (EN)

One of the most important factors in road construction is the ground. Road construction works are shaped according to the strength level of the ground. In this thesis, (Çorum-Merzifon) Ayr. -Mecitözü- (Amasya-Turhal) Road junction Within the scope of the divided road construction work between 0+000-61+841,27 km, Highway foundation/sub-base soil applications were examined. A-7-6 clay soils were found in the research pit opened at Km: 23+600 for soil analysis. Yedigöze-Sigma Co. Inc. As a result of the experiments carried out in the laboratory, it was found that there are weak soils according to the Technical Specifications of Highways. Stone fill (2.68 g / cm3, 19% wear), filter (19-38 aggregate) and non-frost sensitive (Maximum dry unit weight= 2,018-2,172 g/cm3, Optimum water content)= 7.00-9.29%) material was improved by compaction method. As a result of the sand cone test, the fill-terrage elevation with 98.4-100% compaction between Km: 11+500-23+600, the PMAT elevation with 98.0-99.8% compaction between Km: 17+280-19+600 , Km: 17+280-19 + 600% compaction with PMT elevation (according to the Technical Specifications of Highways), the studies were completed and optimum soil stabilization was achieved.
