Abstract (EN)

A new electrochemical sensor was fabricated for the electrochemical detection of paracetamol based on the surface modification of a boron doped diamond electrode with carbon nanofibers, carbon nanotubes and carbon nanoballs. The proposed novel modified electrode showed a good catalytic effect to the electroxidation of paracetamol and enhanced the current response. The new modified electrode was used for the quantitative determination of paracetamol at pH 7.0 in 0.1 M phosphate buffer solution. The peak response of current increased linearly with paracetamol concentration in the interval of 1.5 nM ile 200.0 nM. The limit of detection was 4.68x10-10 mol.L-1 (S/N=3). This novel electrode system was pratically used to the determination of paracetamol in pharmaceutical preparations.
