Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of charismatic leadership on job satisfaction, mediation of leader-follower interaction and organizational citizenship behavior was investigated. For this purpose, data were collected from 600 people working in public institutions in Diyarbakır. First of all, the construct validity and reliability of the scales were tested. For this purpose, reliability analysis, exploratory and confirmatory factor analyzes were performed. The structural equation model was then established and analyzed to test the research hypotheses. As a result of the analysis of the structural equation model, it was found that the charismatic leadership had a positive effect on job satisfaction, leader-follower interaction and organizational citizenship behavior. It has been determined that leader-follower interaction and organizational citizenship behavior have a positive effect on job satisfaction. The Sobel test was conducted to investigate the role of mediation. As a result of Sobel test, it was found that leader-follower interaction and organizational citizenship behavior had a partial mediation role in the effect of charismatic leadership on job satisfaction. It is believed that the intermediary role analysis findings will contribute significantly to the literature.
