Abstract (EN)

In this study aimed to determine phospholipid fatty acids (PLFA) in Karkamış /Gaziantep Pistacia Vera L. agricultural areas. In addition to PLFA, which enables identification of community structure in regional soils, the study evaluated organic matter content, texture properties, salt ratio, calcium ratio, lime ratio and pH contents in terms of microorganism diversity. In addition to PLPA properties, some physicochemical properties of soils were analyzed. The findings revealed 16 different fatty acids, which are 14:0, 15:0, 16:0, 17:0, 18:0, a15:0, i15:0, i16:0, i17:0, cy17:0, cy19:0, 16:1⍵7t, 18:1⍵9c, 18:1⍵9t, 18:2⍵6, 20:0. Based on these results, it was found that bacteria PLFA bioindicator ratio was higher than PLFA bioindicator ratio. Furthermore, 1-2% protozoa PLFA bioindicator was identified. No actinomyces bioindicator PLFA was identified. It was found that the soils had a high clay ratio, showed alkali character and that organic matter amount was very low. This study is of great importance in terms of contributing to more sustainable agricultural practices. Measures appropriate for this region should be taken to increase biodiversity.
