Abstract (EN)
319 adult and 190 larva Trichoptera specimens were collected and identified during expedition which was made between May-September 2003-2007 in Kastamonu. In the study 24 genera and 44 species belonging to 14 families have been identified and thus 47 species and 1 subspecies recorded in Kastamonu until now. Habitat, phenology and studied material data belonging to Trichoptera fauna of the studied area were recorded and the distribution in Turkey and the world for species were given. The species of the Hydropsyche exocellata Dufour, 1841, Cheumatopsyche flavellata, Mey, 2004, Cheumatopsyche persica Mey, 2004 (Hydropsychidae) are the first record for Turkish fauna and 42 species are the first record for Kastamonu province.
