Abstract (EN)

In this study, three new vic-dioxime derivatives have been prepared by adding anti-chloroglyoxime to silica gel samples which modified with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane (APTES) and [3-2-aminoethyl) aminopropyl]trimethoxysilane (AEPTMS) and to chitosan at heterogeneous medium. The structure of the synthesized ligands; Si-N-(Si-propyl)aminoglyoxime (H2L1), Si-N-(Si-N?-ethylpropylamine)aminoglyoxime (H2L2) and vic-dioxime-chitosan (H2L3) were determined by elemental analysis (C, H, N), FT-IR, XRD and 13C CP-MAS NMR spectroscopy techniques. Metal complexes of the ligands with Ni (II), Cu (II) and Co (II) were isolated and characterized by FT-IR, magnetic susceptibility and Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy (AAS). Surface characterizations of chitosan, H2L3, [Ni(HL3)2] and [Cu(HL3)2] were performed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). Thermal behaviors of the synthesized compounds were investigated by TG-DTA analysis. The synthesized metal complexes were not dissolved in common solvents. The catalytic avtivities of these insoluble metal complexes were investigated for the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide. Cu(II) and Co(II) complexes were effective for the catalytic decomposition of hydrogen peroxide.
